Most people travel to Macau by hydrofoil from Hong Kong . Turbojet HK leaves from the Hong Kong airport and the Ferry Terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui and Shenzhen. Other than weekends and holidays  buying a ticket is rarely a problem, allow for 30 minutes before departure time to fill out immigration forms

Macau International Airport

 

 

Macau International Airport is located at the eastern end of Taipa Island . Airport Bus #1 (MOP $6) goes from the airport to the jetfoil terminal, hotel Lisboa and the border of Portas do Cerco .

The old Portas do Cerco

 

From Mainland China ( Zhuhai ) there are two points of entry into Macau : Portas do Cerco ( open 7 am - midnight ) or the Lotus Bridge ( open 9am - 5pm ), from these points you can catch a bus central Macau .
